Annotate8 is provided by Constellation 32 LLC (“C32”). By downloading, installing or using Annotate8 you agree to our Terms of Service and the

Annotate8 Schedule. You must be 18 or older.

The free app

Free to use, at home or at work, with no account. It covers screen, region and window capture,

opening and pasting images, cropping, copying and saving. Please don't crack, resell or redistribute

the app, or modified copies of it. Download it only from this site.

Pro

Pro costs US$2 a month plus any tax, and unlocks pen, arrows, shapes, text and redaction on the

computers you link to your account. It renews monthly until you cancel. It includes no cloud storage

or upload.

Polar sells the subscription. Polar is the Merchant of Record: it takes payment, handles tax and

receipts, and its own terms apply to the purchase. We provide the software.

Linking and offline use

You link a computer with a one-time code. The app then checks your Pro status from time to time, and

Pro keeps working offline for up to 7 days after the last successful check. You can unlink a computer

whenever you like. We may revoke access if a token is shared or misused.

Your images

Your images are yours, and they stay on your computer, so back up anything important; we can't

recover it. The redaction tool covers what you choose to cover: check an image before you share it.

No guarantees

Annotate8 is provided “as is”. Our Terms of Service limit our liability. Nothing here removes rights

you have under the law where you live.

Unsigned installer

The Windows installer isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may show a warning. We publish a SHA-256

checksum so you can check the file.

governs.
